Flew down to Albuquerque and drove her home to Oregon last September.  Fun trip.  Currently having a 451 stroker built for her.

This saddens me beyond words, but I understand completely.  If not for this forum, I'd have not met Hobby or Scott, both outstanding guys.  Not to mention, without Scott, my life would be even worse off than it is now with the events of the past 45 days.

I buy it if I had the scratch.

Some of the import stuff I used to play with, folks install later model dash clusters and such sometimes, and I often wondered how do you get an electric speedo to run off of a cable drive.  Now I know.

After seeing the pic of the new adapter installed, I now know how one would get a modern electric speedo to work off an old style trans.  I'll be damned.  I see the sensor looks like it's just a hall sensor and a tone wheel that's turned by the speedo drive gear!

1.  Stop driving it!!!!  You will dust the motor with metal bits.
2.  Cummins DOES NOT sell center sections or rebuild kits any longer; it's turbo time.

My new boss was the service manager at Cummins NW here in Medford, and worked at Cummins NW for 26 years.  I can show him the pic and ask him too.

Only downside for me now, is that I don't think I'll be getting another Chrysler anytime soon.

I have personal experience with several sets of these, much lower current drain, and much improved visibility at night.  These are the future of lighting.
