General Mopar Discussions / Car WANTED: 75-76 Fury or Coronet 4 dr

Wasn't sure WHERE to put this since there's no Car Wanted section...
Want a classic Mopar driver, but something that will do better than 12
mpg... for you guys/gals, if in your travels or searches  you see
one of the below Mopars, please let me know!

Looking for solid driver with 318, Slant 6: prefer 1975-1976 DODGE
CORONET/PLYMOUTH FURY 4 DOOR, for the '70s safety features and mid-size
for regular use...No rust,  or minimal cosmetic (panel) rust only
please... will also consider a 77-78 Monaco/Fury, or 79-81 R body
(Newport etc). but really want 75-76 B body. Kindly phone at 607

Tech- - Engine / ZDDP and cam lobe problems

The ZDDP in oil, or lack thereof, problem seems to be all over the
internet on any car forums these days - is everyone aware of the issue
of destruction of engines being caused by the oil companies quiet
removal of this important additive over the last year or 2? Maybe it
was discussed already and I missed it? Anyhow I know I'm going to be
using Rotella-T diesel oil in all my non-roller cam engines from now
on... just Google "ZDDP" and read on...

General Tech / Egge Machine

Anybody ever use  pistons/rings from Egge? they're about the only
game in town for .020 pistons for my early "B" wedge 350 - the 1 year
only first year B block for '58 Fury/Firesweep/Dodge.  They clain
they use original molds. Any experiences with them?

In an desperate attempt to increase the feeble presence of actual FIN
cars here - and get a car related to my ID name - or close - I've
scored a 1958 DeSoto (that IS a Mopar - for you wet behind the ears
young'uns!) FireSweep Sportsman 4 dr to add a bit of Forward Look class
to the site... full frame car, Dodge derived front end sheet metal only
found on the 'Sweep. She needs work, she sat outside for too long, not
been run in years, but a she's good solid car to start with, and now in
a nice safe dry garage... so... let the fun begin!

So - why is there no browse feature on this page so I can post some pics?? Help??!!!!!!!

it handy to see who is near you - hey - it's a FAMILY here, right?? -
we don't need to be paranoid, do we?? I mean... "United States" for a
location?? C'mon!!!  Or "Canada" for those of you Scanadians...?

General BS and Laughs / Smog conversion

In line with the post about emissions requirments for old cars in CA
-  I've considered converting to propane - it's easy, car runs
better, oil stays clean forever, less contaminants in engines... and
the car emissions are much cleaner - might even get thru a Smog Check -
anyone done it? What's not to like???

Anyone ever swapped a TorqueFlite into a PowerFlite car?

Any real reason to?  - other than the obvious - extra gear, acceleration etc?

I don't care about go-fast - but, any mechanical issues with PF?
