Site Questions and Announcements / Names Instead of Handles
« on: September 01, 2015, 10:00:12 AM »
I see peoples names are being used instead of handles now. Not so sure that's a good idea. We know people more by their handles than their names.

Ian? Snotty? Anyone? Always a great show and fun weekend.

General BS and Laughs / It's Not A C Body But It Is Just As Big!

Bought a 64 Cadillac sedan Deville today. Not really sure why but it's a straight rust free Arizona car. It's been sitting a while but inside so the interior isn't trashed like some desert cars. In fact the steering wheel and dash pad are perfect. I guess I'm going to try to get it running and decide then what to do with it. Here's the pictures.

Bought me another Wagon today. It's a 1981 Plymouth Carevelle. It's the Canadian version of a Dodge Diplomat I guess. Speedo is in Kilometers and underhood stickers are in English and French. Runs and drives great and has ice cols A/C, a neccesity here in Arizona. Here's some pictures

General Mopar Discussions / Golt Rear Ended In My Wagon Today

Stopped at a red light and the kid wasn't paying attention and BOOM! I'm ok although I'm sure my neck will hurt tomorrow as my head snapped back pretty hard. Good thing is he has insurance (Gieco). Five minutes after I got home from the scene Geico was already calling me and has accepted liability and already assigned an adjuster. The hard part is going to be finding parts. I definatly need a tailgate which is 69 Monaco only. My biggest fear is they will total it due to lack of parts and try to give me $500 for it. Not gonna happen though as I have been dealing with insurance companies for years doing paint and bodywork. Here's pictures of the carnage.

I can't help it. I got my seats back for my 66 New Yorker today so I got ready to put in the new carpet and seats. When I took the old carpet out I took pictures of the floor to show you "Rust Belt" guys what a 46 year old floor can look like. LOL.

General Mopar Discussions / Pcked Up A New Driver

I picked up a 66 New Yorker 4dr ht from a friend of mine. It was his dad's who passed away recently. He was a lifelong Chrysler Dealership technician and was an excellent mechanic. He had everything dialed in just right on this car. It runs great and drives real tight. It's loaded with options like power windows, tilt and tele, a/c and AM/FM. I'm going to paint it and drive it. Here's some pictures I took as it was getting dark last night.

Happy Birthday to the both of you!

Today I took it thgough emmosion testing ( It Passed ) and got tags for it. I had a 1969 Arizona plate that I was able to use on it as a "Year Of Manufcture" plate. Here's a picture. It looks kinda cool on there I think.

General Mopar Discussions / Bought a 70 Monaco
« on: November 02, 2011, 06:34:15 AM »
I bought this off of E-Bay last night. Going down to Tucson Sunday to pick it up. I think it will make a cool driver. I have the parts it needs like the fender extension and side glass from a 70 Polara I parted out. 10:37:11
