General BS and Laughs / at the 1/8 mile race.
« on: August 17, 2010, 09:05:45 AM »
Yes, I know. Long time ago since my last visit here. But not only here.
I have a new job (a good one) and my dad got very sick and he come's on the first place.
But now we are back in buisniss. Marcel sold our camper after our vacation and with that money he is going to build his engine for the 440. (And buying a camperunit for the pick-up)
Our first day of our holiday we spent on a MoPar Meeting in Germany. Our sweet friend Herman was also there. The meetings overhere are Sjarger and Roadrunner minded. And so it was great to see how Herman drove his 1960 New Yorker to the 1/8 mile race and was faster then most of them. :)
Here a little film. It is the first time that I've made a little movie, so it is not so good but I am learning!
BigBlockMopar in action!

Just a quicky.... Been a bit very busy with my new job lately and since today also with my new ride. :D
A rusty and crusty 1973 Plymouth Valaint. Bought for 500 euro. It has a great running 6 cyllinder. Only the body needs some work. The volvo is now for sale and the Plymouth is going to be my new daily. ;)

Here is a link to the blog that Marcel made for the Dodge.
( He is not posting it so I will! )
Yesterday they did a lot of work on the engine.
The engine is gonna come out this week and going to a friend's Duster.

And this is the starting of the new engine building. :)

Tech- - DRIVE TRAIN / Searching for my boyfriend
« on: April 17, 2010, 05:49:16 AM »
My boyfriend has a question. I told him that overhere on this forum a lot of smart people are hanging around. I hope one of you has a answer. He is looking for a new transmission-thingy.

Here is the question:
Can anybody tell me what these numbers are?

Tried to find something, but can't found it:

On the transmission housing : 2400066 2A

On the tale: 2464217-1 AAPM

General Mopar Discussions / Boyfriends new car. :)

I just found this film, made by his old owner, on my boyfriends youtube. :D
He already has a 1969 Roadrunner, but that's on sale now.
(He changes cars almost as fast as his underwear).
A few weeks ago he bought this 1964 Dodge 440 with a (Sjak or Herman, please correct me if I am wrong) 360 engine, that's been drilled up (or how do you say it in Englisch?) to a 390.
He is now on his way to The Netherlands on a boat. :)
I cannot wait to drive this baby. :D

WELCOME NEW MEMBERS! / Sjak Braks victim.....
« on: February 24, 2010, 12:31:24 AM »
Hello everybody.
Sjak showed me this forum and told me that there are a lot of nice people overhere. :)
I hope so.....
I am a Dutch girl and since a year and half I am the proud owner of a 1953 Plymouth Cranbrook. Found in a shed overhere. She didn't see the road for over 13 years.....
Now she's back on track! Still have to do some little things.....
My baby's arrival...

Almost finished...

And for the summer I share a 1958 Pontiac Chieftain.
I know it is not a Mopar, but it is still a lovely car.
