Shoot.  Missed one I could help with.  I need to quit working so much and post here more. Amazing how much a job and kids get in the way of doing other things.

Still no go for me.
I even tried Shft/Ctrl and the Alt/tab deal.  Maybe if I hit the F5 key or refresh.   One of the guys in the office said I might want to do a restore to a prior date with a reboot.  Any other suggestions?
This is like the time in Boy Scouts when the scout master sent me to find a left handed smoke shifter from one of the other troops at the jamboree.

Kind of a good time for this.  Right now at Page Field here in Ft. Myers they have a B-17, B-24 and mustang.  They flew in on Monday open for display yesterday and today until noon.   $12.00 to tour them.  Rides on the bombers are 30 mins $425.  The mustang is $2,200 for 30 mins and $3,200 for 1hr.   I'm thinking I'll go for the hour in the mustang.  It's only money right.

I had the luck of meeting a guy years ago who flew both the B-17 and B-24 in WWII.  Some interesting stories.  He liked each for diffrent reasons and hated each for diffrent reasons.

Well I'll be.  Shazam!  I didn't notice the scroll on the bottom of the photo and low and behold when I did move to the right I saw the 47.

The bomber posted is a B-29 Super Fortress.   The B-47 was a short lived jet bomber.  A movie was made with Mr. Jimmy Steward about SAC and at the time the 47 was used because it was the hot new item.

General Mopar Discussions / Why are they "Formals"?
« on: January 15, 2009, 05:45:51 AM »
So the former Chryslers were not as formal and the newer Chryslers were considered more formal than the former.  Of course formal being fancier than former.
So if I ran a string of interior headliner trim, say the little ball looking stuff, my 300 could become a formal from a former?
This is why I love this site.  So much to learn and a group willing to help and teach.

Would this work.
One of my resolutions is to find out why they term certain chrysler cars as formal?
Maybe it's in the way ya ask.

Good call.  I was going with they held onto/were last to use steam.  They were noted for being the most efficent in it's use. If I recall correctly they wapped it up around 1959.
The other was they put out the largest engine in terms of pulling ability.  I forget what the correct term is but I read they were at like 116,000 vs the next guy at 97,000.
I did not know about the the photographer but makes sense as I've seen a ton of very neat and nice pic's of which most were N&W.
That's it for my knowledge of them.
