Thanks fellers - had a good day indeed, considering the advancing age (63), and all the more so as my youngest son was assisting, he's a great help, and learning all about what a REAL car is.  Have some connecting up to do yet, and pulley alignment issues (old engine no ac, transplant had a/c, swapped pulleys but still off about 3/4 in for some reason, so we may have to make a spacer),... but looking forward to hearing her purrr soon!

I hate it when that happens. I had the same amount of fun when I switched from the 361 to the 440 in the Charger (no AC), to which the brackets themselves have different bolt spacing on top of it. Hang in there, at least it is spacers and not brackets that don't fit.
