Pedal removal
« on: June 03, 2012, 08:37:45 AM »

I have the floor mounted accelerator pedal in my 65 300. I am getting ready to put the new carpet in and can't see how to remove the pedal. How do I do this? If anyone has a picture that would be very helpful.

Should be two nuts that thread onto studs that go down through the floor board.

That's right. The two 7/16ths or 1/2 inch nuts are located and accessed from under the car.

Thanks guys.   It's done. 1/4" studs/7/16 nuts. Looks like I'll have to enlist my wife to hold the pedal in place when it goes back in.
