Hey Lea

Is there a 225 78 14 tire?

The biggest I can find is 215 and I really don't want to put the 62 on those tires.  I'm debating what to do.

I was thinking of putting the 14" ralleys from the fury, on Scotts car, but the tires aren't  big enough.  215's are only rated to 1650 pounds.  That means 3 tires worth of capacity.  Not much reserve capacity with passengers.  A 225, 15 is rated to 1875  That's 20%.  I guess your road wheels are the wheel of choice.

No 78 series radials,old PPfft.
There is a 2257514 and 2357514 available from Coker tire.
Not cheap, but has the market in those sizes. No broadmarket tires available in the older sizes....
Unless you want to check out this link..

They have NOS never used older tires, bias and radials CHEAP!
You may even get lucky with them and get a full set of the factory correct size tires for around 200 bux---which is one tire from Coker.
For the Road Wheels, like the Polaraco,2257515 is a good choice.

Yeah. . .   Eventually they will go back on Polaraco.  But not until I polish them and coat them this time.  They're a mess.  I need to come up with an idea for those center caps too. I'm afraid they may break and fall off
