I've bought rockers for a '57 NYer 2 dr hardtop from them, and have
gotten feedback from folks that bought their floors... they are
handmade and not die pressed, pretty crude, and the gauge is lighter than
stock, with no flanges on the outer (rocker) side - so at the least be prepared
to do some fitting. Bob McGee at R-car in Connecticut has a much better quality
panel, at twice the price, though, but that's who I used for my '58
FireSweep floor panels.  http://www.my55rock@aol.com Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I sure wish we could
get 1 piece stamped panels like those spoiled B body and Chevy restorers can.

What you also can't see is the lighter gauge of the classicparts4u
panels. A lot of FL people have not been pleased with their stuff.
That's why I paid the higher price for R-Car's panels.



There is also a guy named Rick Gunther, extrememetalworx,  in MA
who makes heavier 18 gauge panels, but his don't have the inner rocker
flanges. (978) 988-8755. His real floors for FL cars are $93 each side,
not sure about '65-68 Cs.

Also note that repop looks like it's made of 3 pieces put together -
looks like seams run front to back on each side, approx 1/3 of the way
in from the R and L edge.

Imo the best way to fix a bad floor is to find a piece on a good western car and graft it in.

classicparts4u   stuff is crapola!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
None of his stuff is stamped.  It's ALL light guage steel with creases formed on a brake.  When using one of their 'flat' creased and rolled panels on your car with its compund curvatures, it will never fit.  Think of it this way:  try wrapping a piece of paper smoothly around a basketball without andywrinkles.  Ain't gonna happen.
Secondly, he ships the wrong stuff half the time.  Yah, he'll replace it but the shipping costs  of returning it almost makes it not worth it.

My sentiments exactly... gawd I wish we could get one piece die stamped
floors like the E body and Chebbie guys!  You can get an entire,
perfect, repop floor for a Nova for like $190!!  Bastids....!!

Hey Guys, This 59 Dodge I'm working on has rotted rockers, part of the floor and trunk and various other places. I bought a 4' x 10' sheet of 18 ga. took it to a local fab shop and had him form inner and outer rockers, Wheel well to wheel well, both sides, plus other pieces.  He did a great job of getting curves and bends in the right places.  I'm in to all this for about $200 and have sheet metal left over for other places. I just take a sample with some measurements, he bends it, I take it home, clamp it in place and weld it. I hear all these horror stories and don't why anyone would open themselves up to all that frustration. Its hard enough getting everything lined up again, let alone trying to do it with metal that does'nt fit right. No insult intended to anyone, just passing along some info that is working for me. Hope it will be useful to someone.     Thanks,,,   Jerry
