It's that time once again for my pilgrimage to New Jersey.
Leaving Canuckville this Friday in the Waygun.
Taking I-81 South,go through NY State,Pennsylvania and and join up to I-80 to see..
The Grand Poobah, the bloss man the one and only Polaraco.
I will be returning on the following Monday making it a four day weekend.
I have to stop in Syracude to Sandy's Bumper Mart,so if anybody wants some rechroming done PM me and I can drop it off for you.
Like last year, the more the merrier, the bigger the discount, the better the price.
Also if you jaust wanna hook up for a cup of java I can take a break from the road.
I know some members missed me the last time i went through,so now here's another chance.
Cheers.

General Mopar Discussions / Waygun wins new wheels
« on: September 11, 2011, 05:03:32 PM »
Well,Lady luck had been shining on me.
When I returned to my old slave post,Goodyear had a sales spiff on where if I sold an X number of tires,I get a free set.
Did that and won the tires.
Then...I took part in one of our suppliers product trade show and had to stay to the end for the big draw of 3 major prizes.
Well..I WON A SET OF WHEELS!!
Just in the nick of time, too.
The old 2157514 Hankooks that were donated to me by my good buddy Ray started to develope broken belts.
Crap.
Dont really want to drive long distances on the original bias-ply tires, either.
I jammed on the snow tires for a while, but they were getting noisy and wearing on the hot pavement.
I chose 2356016 Goodyear Comfortred Touring and mounted them on 16X8 Fast wheels.
The tires are now 27.1 inches in diameter which is the closest to the factory original diamter of the old bias ply's.
Now my speedo reads bang on,and the engine revs are lower at speed.

So..without any further ado..here she is wearing her new shoes..

Site Questions and Announcements / Down...but not out
« on: July 04, 2011, 12:11:50 PM »
Hey guys--and gals.
I am experiencing difficulties with my service provider at home.
So,  am still here but can only check in on my lunch breaks when at work.
Hoping to get the issue resolved this week.
My personal e mail is down with it as well, but I have a general e mail box I can check
hemigerri@hotmail.com
or admin065@jiffyautoservice.com
should anybody need to contact me .
Other than that,I have been spending lots of time outside and cruising in the wagon to car shows and the like.
I am determined to get back on the Boab this month.
Ta ta for now and enjoy your 4th of July holiday

General Mopar Discussions / Looky here..what came into my shop

1971 Super Bee
Bare bones car,383 HP,column shift 727,plain jaine bench,light group package,AM/FM radio.
Owned for over 24 years by the same guy.
It took him that long to get to this point to getting the car done.
It spent over 15 years sitting at a body shop waiting to get done, until my buddy Barry took it on and had it finished under two years.
Kudos to Al,the owner for toughing it out on a rare car,and ditto for Barry and team for taking on such a challenging project.
