Once we get it done and I get my garage back, Jake's lil brother wants to help me roll right into my 69  Wanna Bee clone. He's 5-1/2, tells us his brain is 8 or 9, and already knows the tool box as well as Jake does...LOL

Yeah --  Herbie does pretty alright.  He schedules his work because he has limited space and only has 1 or 2 guys working with him depending on how busy he gets. Small-time operation out of a double deep x double wide garage in his back yard. Found him by accident back on '04 when looking to get the Fury painted.  He shot my Fury in 2004 and I still get tons of positive comments about the paint. He also did my Shelby Dakota 2 years ago...... If his chedule holds up, we should be heading back to pick it up around the 23rd................ Jake said this is the beginning of the longest 3 week period of his life....LOL

Now that is pretty cool!!!!
We think so, too - but can't take all the credit for the idea... Saw it done on a 66 B'cuda and liked it alot. The roundness of the buldes just works well with the roundness of the roof and rear window.... We are going about it a little different than the other guy did as far as joining the 2, but the end result will be the same.  Personally I think it looks better on the 65 because the nose is just a little rounder..........and because it's ours...lol

Just about ready to makesome noise with the
engine - just a few odds and ends to tie up there. So until we get those, we
started on the hood morphing..... laid out andmade the initial cut on the donor
hood, laid it on top of the 65 hood, have it all marked ready for trimming and
ready to make the initial cuts on the flat hood..... No need for the E-body guys
to get upset, the donor hood was in pretty bad shape in the rear corners......

Not at all... Got a rebuild kit and deep pan set from Mancini. Even had to drill a hole thru the filter spacer to accommodate the 65 trans filter/valve body because of the rear pump....
