Well, up here in the Gr. White North, not many (read none)wrecking yards with 70's Chryslers in them anymore. The crushers got them all years back! I've got a Mopar wrecker  whos checking his "private stash" at home. Keep my fingers crossed!

  I'm swapping from Budd Disc to 73' C-body disc! the Budds dont use the same mount bolts Been checking a few bolt places, no luck so far. Ahh gotta love them mopars!

Thanks for the pep talk! I'm just doing the swap on my 66' T&C wagon, from Budds to 73' discs. I'm missing 2 of the large 5/8" fine bolts that are used for mounting, are they still available? no luck here locally! John.

Bob; the top of my back passenger seat, in  my 66' Newport is heat cooked. No cracks or splits but "dried out" would be the best description. Any suggestions for preserving it? Thanks, John.

Hi Guys; Looking at a 73' Dodge Tradesman Van, with disc brakes. Will they fit the same as the 73' car assy's. Looking to add to the stash for future projects!  John.

Hi Moesy; well this may suprise you, $104.65 ea! from Rare Parts. One side was damaged by someone who beat me to the donor car, Pick N Pull wrecking yard. all in all, not a bad  price . they also re-engineer all their components, for longer life than OEM.
 
 Hey Brian;  How about me shipping you the ball joints, so I can pick them up from you or have you put them "on the Dog" to me.  John.

Brian; yes, I'm using the 73' spindles, but I'm removing the Budd set-up. Which includes a complete ball joint swap, upper & lower. I want to run new parts, from the get go!! Even the lowers for the 73 are not readily available, at least not in Canada!

Hey Guys; The T&C had a single diaphragm booster, and it was not original. The person who sold me the car, said the brakes were an ongoing issue,  which they never sorted out. I plan too use the wagon too haul my travel trailer occasionally! so I dont want to have to carry a boat anchor, to heave out the window! One other thing I learned, is the Lower Ball Joint assy's are only available through "Rare Parts" in Cali.  John

Hi Brian; Thanks for the info & pic's," I've been round the Mulberry bush" with NAPA here, I think the booster coming is finally the right one! No listings for a 66' with disc brakes! I guess cause they had just come out that year. Thanks for the offer on the Booster Polaraco, but with all this trial & error fitting, it makes sense to be able to return them, if they don't fit! Just a quick update on the Wagon, Brian ,I'm getting the Torqueflite gone thru, and then we drop in the 413. Hopefully will have on the road by the end of August!  John.

Hi guys; I'm knee deep in the middle of converting my Budd discs to 73 spindles rotors etc. I was lookin at an earlier thread where C-Barge talks about Boosters. Question, is the Midland- Ross booster used on the Budd system still available? My 66'T&C had Budds & cruise control, which makes for a tight fit. Secondly is that M-R booster a dual diaphragm? Most of the single diaphragm Boosters I can find are only rated for drum brakes. Oddly enough thats what was on the car (single diaphragm) when I bought it, and the owner said the brakes performed poorly. thanks, John.

Hi Brian; Good on ya!! One thing to keep in mind your 440 in the wagon, if its original, had a much higher comp. ratio than the 70 motors. I'm sure that helps get a complete burn!
 I've heard the Mohawk with Ethanol works good for air-care. Thank God we haven't  got air- care up here yet!
