Interesting.  They don't say that.  I noticed the oil is real slippery though.  This is a liquid or a powder?

Ed  I need to correct you.  The 12V for the charging system comes from before the ballast resistor.  The voltage going to the regulator is what it reads.  You can't go to the coil because that is 9 volts

If i recall correctly, your 383 is an RB.  If so, the 440 Brackets are the right ones.  Then you can install a traditional Mopar Alternator.  Wiring is really simple.

Just a word of warning, you'll have to put a regulator on the gauges now.  Your temp and Gas gauge will pin
