Nice truck!  My understanding is that it's a VM Motori built engine, biggest diesel maker in the world and a Division of Fiat-Chrysler. Injection and engine management is Bosch.

It's a Bosch engine.  Supposed to be rated #1 in Europe

Just read an article saying the 1000-1200 year drought that got rid of the west coast Mayan Indians seems to be coming around again and we are looking at a 100 year drought, and in return, east of the Rockies is supposed to be wetter. Southwest used to be a tropical paradise. Hope it isn't true. At least the article said they don't think global warming is to blame, it is a natural pattern. Go figure.

There's so many crackpots out there, who knows what to believe.  Seems like all people do these days is instill paranoia.  Look at the EPA

She'd love that. . . .  LOL
Not sure I want to risk that on a $10K engine though.  But I get it.

The problem is there is no big block that was ever cerpentine.  Only the LA based Magnums were.  I don't know if the lower pulley will bolt up to the damper or not either.  Never tried it  I think you'll have to go to one of those kits
