Gerri picked up a new hobby from Elaine as well-needlepoint.
I took my wife out to a hobby store and on the return trip she passed the time away keeping busy..
  Is that a pentastar?

No need to engineer a better one, just throw a $30 spare in the glove box and install it when you need it.

I heavily considered those rally wheels in chrome instead of the Magnum's. Would have went well with the Plymouth theme but no going back now. No regret's either. jimmyray682008-08-11 09:05:58

Well got the Magnum's on, changes the look of the whole car. Also lowered the front about a 1/2". Kept the 235's all the way around for now, maybe forever...

Yeah, I got homework to do on tires, got a chart with the OD's in the garage and the 275's are going in there if they will clear the skirts. I know the rim will fit but got to mount a few tires to check their side profiles first. Your 2 cents means a lot, thanks man...

Tech- - FUEL / everything but idle...

Carb fire? You have some serious timing issues / distributor problems. While the carb is off you should probably pull the intake and reseal it with new gaskets for good measure. When I got the 300 it wouldn't idle if it's life depended on it. I tore off the intake only to find it was sealed with silicone and was all turned to jelly from the fuel. New gasket and intake vacuum and idle were restored to normal. Still skeptical of that distributor though.

Well I just ordered the Magnum 500's for the VIP, 15x7 front and 15x8 rear's, from Jeg's. Should be here in about 10 day's. As for the center's they are ordered from PG classics in New Brunswick. Thinking about a pair of 255/60r15's on the rear and leaving the 235/75r15's on the front. Blackwall out of course. They should clear the skirt's ok but I will fit the wheel before I buy the tire's. I have seen some pretty big tire's on Fury's but they don't have the skirt's the VIP has. Should look pretty sassy.

It's pretty funny that it states in the "chit chat" header to take the rants somewhere else but the only thing taken somewhere else is the retaliation to the rants.
