Tech- - Engine / 413 industrial

WOW... that only took a few months... That is a Great point about the intake gasket... Now that i think about it, I believe both sides were wide open. I did see an intake made  by Edelbrock that was a high rise set up for the 413. The bolt pattern matches, but bolts on like you set a chair on the floor. Ya know, with 4 corner legs and space in between them
I can still bolt on the water line with this model. Its the Edelbrock Super Victor from Summit Racing.  Now we can change the carb and the intake. What yall think????

I got to do an oil change in my 331 hemi. What is the best thing for the oldies? I also have to change the oil in a 67 dodge truck... the 413 industrial. Should I use the same in both?

THAT SHOWS IT!!!!!!!!!! RIGHT NEXT TO THE THERMOSTAT RISER.  ITS BLUE IN COLOR. if you look closely, you see where it goes toward. its routes under the plug wires on top of the intake manifold going toward the carb. its blue there too, but the paint´s all chipped. moparmanof852010-11-16 18:47:38

the engine came out of a 71 dodge commander motorhome. normal belts on it. there is one water line going into it, no exit tube. i think it goes through the center of the 5 holes on the head where it meets the intake. this is an exhaust port???? why would they do this? if the heads are already cooled by the water pump, how would this little line be significant? huh... dunno. i guess it makes sense to use all or none of these parts (heads, water pump, and cooled intale). maybe i can still change the intake if i found a way to continue to introduce water into the éxhaust´port on the heads. that may take some time. I like the way these heads perform, (low end torque) so i would hate to change them. these industrial motors are known to bw indestructable. they never over heat, therefore never crack the heads or block.
