General Mopar Discussions / Rear AC in a '67 Monaco
« on: March 20, 2010, 12:57:36 PM »
Just was looking at a CL ad for a 67 Monaco:
1967 Dodge Monaco 383 HP - $1500
1967 Dodge Monaco with factory 383 HP motor. The car has rust but the body is straight, the car has never been wreaked. The engine was running when the car was parked but transmission is bad. The car has a weird 2 zone AC setup that's factory; I've never seen one like it before. I was planning on restoring the car but I've got too many projects going; - $1500.00 OBO. I don't have regular access to the internet so please call me at

Where this project is going is a very, very scary thought.  No good can come of this.

General Mopar Discussions / The tale of two NOS steering wheels.
« on: February 26, 2010, 04:35:04 AM »
I have a tough decision to make.  I need a steering wheel.
Let me present to you exhibit #1 from our beloved pal, Frank M.

Total cost: $710.00.

Next, I present exhibit #2 from another eBayer:

Total cost (should there be no other bids): $113.00.

Now, I could buy the NOS wheel in the correct color for $710.00 or the one in the incorrect color for $597.00 less.
Decisions, decisions, decisions...
OH! did I mention I already have the correct paint in the correct color

Tech- - Engine / Idle solenoids
« on: February 07, 2010, 04:58:24 AM »
When Steve was down here, we pretty much agreed  that I need an idle solenoid.
Concurrently, a thread on Moparts got me thinking I gotta do it.
Since my setup is total aftermarket (Eddie Performer manifold w/Holley), I'm kind  of at a loss to how to rig it so thatit's not  .  Also, as I try and draw the wiring diagram for it, I'm raising more questions about it.
Don't really know what to ask so lets start by my asking if anybody has one on their car now.
