It's a 727 TF from an 1960 BB dart.
I think this will work out. It has the "normal" Yoke tail and is rebuild.
Will have a look at the numbers tonight.

I was also thinking of putting a complete stroker kit inside this engine.
.010  oversize isn't that bad I think..

Just had a look at the engine and it's the one with the cast crank.
This might be the core I'm going to use for the new project!
The Pistons have the chrysler star inside with a 10 behind it..
So these are stock?

I knew already some stuff from what was posted here.
The main question remains.
can the bellhousing and the tailshaft (numbers on the first page) be used to upgrade from a smallblock 727 pushbutton to a 727 bigblock push button?
I'm going to use a 440 as a shortblock and I will check on the yoke story

I was forced by my girlfriend Bingelke, to register me to this place.
It was no problem, because I see that all the knowledge is concentrated in this forum.
