General Mopar Discussions / Disc Brakes 4 A 60 Desoto
« on: January 27, 2010, 02:02:55 PM »
Went for a spin in the Desoto today to pick up some parts for the Fury. Thought it'd be a good day to give the beast some exercise; what with snow probably cooming this weekend.
The brakes were totally rebuilt last year, rebuilt cylinders, new shoes, lines ,master cylinder rebuilt. They've been adjusted within a c**nts-hair, more than once, and occassionally pull top the left. Sometimes when the're cold the fronts locks until they get warmed or pumped a few times. I hear about you guys with your newer C-Bodies doing these easy disc brake conversions. I want to be able to use my wheels, which accomidate my OEM wheelcovers.
Any info is appreciated.

This is a car Polaraco and I saw in North caroline while picking up my 60 Fury.
When we saw it there was a heavy coat of Carolina clay covering the exterior. I suppose it helps preserve the paint.
This guy has got a treasure trove of all different Mopars, BUT...

A friend who's usually pretty shape, put gasoline in the tank of his Diesel Ram Pickup.
Does anybody have any suggestions to help avoid this costly error in the future?

General Tech / turn signal

The self cancelling on my 60 Desoto turn signals no longer works right. Is there a switch/wiring harness that goes bad. Anyone know a source for a repro?
