Firedom you don't need Renault in the US and you are not missing anything,  Megan for example is worst for non-mechanics  we ever met over here, its good until 50-60,000 KM then problems will start to rise, except for very few types that are good with very good care as Sjak said,
for example, in the Megan changing the light bulb will take 30-45 minutes  by removing the front wheel to access the light assembly from the wheel well 'imagine wet weather, while VW golf for example 5-10 minutes,
I'm not Mopar Junkie but French cars are not as good as it look
Any photos of the Hudson? one of my favorites, I have to admit I started to like it from the cartoon Movie Cars :D

Imperials are the best, all stock and still running after almost 40 years, hope you will not need to change the control arm bushings :D

Well I'm Jelious
Funny I had the same problem with the fuel sending unit but with the original one, the guage showed 3/4 once then next time showed near half after driving about 40 miles.... before starting the project I was sure the tank is empty since will be removed, after removing I got 30 liters back :D
MPG was the same...

Maybe Optima battery is a better choice..

want to agree with Sjak (as always :D ) and say more, I never drove any full size before except the imp so cannot compare the driving differences , but the differences are so obvious when I though they are all the same..
The whole sub-frame, C member are different, no single suspension part or brake is interchangeable with Chrysler or Plymouth and all are bigger, some parts do not even exist on Chrysler or Plymouth, all are connected through bushings and no rubber pads..etc....

I am using Thrush Turbo muffs.
Part #17713 2-1/4" inlet and outlet.
No drone,quiet at cruising speed.
They do cackle under a load and are fun to listen to..

@rexus31,  do you have more info or a link to the resonators you have?

Indeed, the 73 Imp is the most sinister looking post-war car I can think of, especially if its in a dark color.
