It's here!!!!!!

After a few hours at the shop getting the brake cylinders installed, and brakes bled, got it home. It was a miracle!! They did the brakes, then the generator started working (they fixed the wire for the charging) the power steering started working, and the brake lights started working!!! Everything that wasn't working on the car now works. They also topped off the tranny fluid so the tranny works.....ish....it's leaking in my garage right now...eh...it drives :D Now onto the pics!!!!

My two mopars:

In the garage! Will had to get into the pic!

I am counting on number 2. Hell, I don't care if someone with a pickup and trailer tows it up for me, as long as it gets here in the same condition that it's in right now...well, maybe if the guy wants to fix it up along the way, that's cool.

This new company is SOOOO much better. I'm getting update emails every day on whether a driver has accepted my offer, and has been completely honest on the fact that we may have to raise it $50. Just that good customer service is worth the money in my book.

Will do guys! Thanks for the info. Yeah, I don't need another leak. I only have one leaking right now, and non of the brakes work...well, the parking brake does. Does anyone have input on shoes to get? Haven't done too much research on this one YET, but I figure if I have the brakes apart, might as well do everything at once.

The front wheel cylinders wont work on mine. The previous owner put disk brakes on it :) Thank you for finding the rears! It looks like the ones I found will work, just need to find them for a lower price. The ebay one might be the one I get. Fathers day!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!

I was using American Auto Relocation "Professionals" They have some of the worst customer service skills out of anybody I've ever delt with. I would recommend anybody stay away from them!

Sorry, I'm still a little ticked right now. My car is still in Cali, sitting in a driveway uncovered for everyone to see, and it's not in the greatest neighborhood :(

As I am researching parts for my 59 Saratoga until it gets here, I do know that it needs a new rear wheel cylinder. I'm planning on just replacing both rears at the same time. I want to make sure it's the right part though. Is this the one I'm looking for guys? http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=966535

LOL guys! yeah, it was a bunch of idiots that did (or didn't do) any of the work on my car. The only shop that was able to even tell me anything was a shop that my grandfather had taken his to, but that was for brakes (they couldn't get the parts for the wheel cylinder in time, thus the reason it will need a brake job when it gets here)

An update on shipping, in short, the company that I was trying to ship  with were lying to me for the past month and a half that they had a truck set up, and especially the past 2 days when they said that they were talking to the truck driver because I called another company (this one has the highest rating of all that are rated) and they looked in their little computer and told me that there has never been a truck booked to pick up my car. I quickly shot an email to the first company because they don't answer their phone, to cancel with them, and booked with the new company. It will be a little more money, but if they can get the car picked up, it's already worth it! So I have to wait a little longer to get it up here :(

I know. That's what I kept telling them. They flat our refused because the car was too old and not in their system. They did the oil just fine though.

Yeah, I live in WA, and we don't have In-n-Out, so I had to hit that up when I was there!

I'll be sure to get the tranny flushed and the cooling system flushed when it gets up here. Took it to a couple of shops last year who wouldn't do it because we didn't know how much fluid goes in each. I have an owners manual for it now that I picked up and it has all the fluid levels :)

Well, went to Cali this last weekend, the truck didn't show up...supposed to be there tomorrow now...we shall see. got the beast started, and just like last year, ran a little rough, but I guss a bone stock 50 year old car will do that. Tranny slipping a little, and one of the rear wheel cylinders is leaking, so the brakes don't work. It didn't stop me from crusing around.

This is how I found her:

After a quick spin by Autozone:

At one of the greatest fast food places in the US

At a different, decent fast food place

I was thinking more white with red accents. My grandfather had a 59 Toga that was that color combination. (long story on why we don't have THAT one. lets just say when I was a kid, we moved to AK and trusted my uncle to take care of it and he didn't :( )

That would be cool to meet up!!! I'll find out this weekend when the car will be up here. It gets loaded up on Saturday, but I don't know how long it will take to be delivered :(

I will have pictures posted after this weekend. I'm hoping they can pick it up in the afternoon so I can cruise around and snap some pictures in the desert :) We shall see.
