Have found regulator and piggy tail.
Right now im charging 15,6v and i think thats way too much, but could that be the result if the regulator is burned.

I will see if i can find a new pig tail and regulator.
And then i will have a look at the back side of the bulk connector, and i know i have to change my regulator on the dash.
So maybe i have to go for all of those right away.

Hello folks.
My Alternator meter is gone crazy, if the engine is hot and at idle the meter is on the low side, but when i just give a little gas its going to the top almost bending the stick.
I have checked all the connections at the bulkhead and they all look fine.

But then i have this blank shiny thing i think is my charging relay (correct me if im wrong)
and if you look close at female connctor the 2 holes are a little melted.

I hope someone can give me a solution too this, i dont want too ruin something so i dont drive until i know whats going on.

Over here the state has too support the "ART" makers (painters and skulpture makers)
for them to live, and we have buy our art, and get punished by taxes.
But then we can drive our old cars without smogtest, if they are older than 35 years (veteran cars) we get cheap road tax and insurance.
Lets see when the green politicians are going to do some changes to that.

Very nice car.
We dont have many of the wagons over here, and those that we have are some kind of rotten/rusty.
Would be cool with a Trailer thing on my car , i just cant find it .

General BS and Laughs / I got a HEMI!!
« on: May 19, 2009, 09:15:41 AM »
ehhhmmmm i didnt say it was a bad engine.
Just info, people say i have a hemi in here, and then i just tell them that its not HEMI like original.
Modern engines should be better than a 40 year old, or else there would be something wrong.
Just my 2 pence, im sorry if i stepped someone's toe's.
If i had the cash i would have a old HEMI in my car.
Rules say i cant change my car from stock, meaning im not allowed to put in a modern engine or disc brakes if i cant prove that you could buy it like that from new.
If i do i have to pay more taxes, because i have changed my car to a newer.

Very nice car, if i just could afford one. (we have 180% tax on cars)
price in danish kroner = 1.145.000 in US $ = 209304.45 thats for the Touring/wagon
But being a HEMI hmmmmm well i was reading an magazin about MOPAR's and
they said the new engines was just HEMI for looks, they dont have hemisferical combustion chambers, just spark plug in the top.
Not ment to ruin your joy for the car, anyway i would love it as Touring, they just look so nice.

« on: April 30, 2009, 07:35:18 AM »
Now i have read it carefully(very s l o w) so i think i understood it.
And i think my problem is the perco-rize thingy, and i need to find a rebuild set for my Carter.
Still i cant see what the starter has to do with it, come experts explain please.

Now i have read it, and that could be what happens, and i saw a post here on a Danish forum and there they also said that they changed the starter for a mini thing.
Not that i can see what it has to do with each other.
But i would like to know, so please someone tell me.
