Run a direct line to the battery so you can check it from a known source. If you have a ballast in place run it inline to the battery or however the stock is wired.....

Something must be grounding... if it runs better from the battery then you might need to dive into your wiring..

I would like to see it too...

Well the air was crap so the car ran 3 tenths slower than last fall.... but I did go 3 rounds before the eventual winner took me out in the 4th round. My 60 foots dropped off 2 tenths and the engine sits flat until around 3000 the comes to life. I think the h-pipe moved the torque up in the range compared to last fall with the 2 pipes separate. Time for gears. Also the traction bars hit REALLY hard which shows how terrible the rear springs are right now..

Here are some videos of today.. sorry about the crappy videoing.. I just put the camera on the dash and the vacuum gauge held it in place.

Just click on the picture open the video

This is my Buddy John's Street Legal Demon

John in his Demon against a 451 Stroker Belvedere.. ran 12.04 through the mufflers on street tires later in the day

General Mopar Discussions / How Fast will it Go..

I guess my response was a little strong now that i read it... sorry about that..

This is me in the Big Block Aspen I used to own.

This is the 9 second Mustang I was hired to drive. I was a Merlin 468 Chevy with tunnel ram, 6000 stall with a glide. This was shifted at 8500 rpm and went through the traps at 9000 at 135 mph.

This is me and my soon to be wife in the winner circle in Indy after the race of Champions win. This is a 16 second car but I had won Rookie of the Year, track Championship and the Indy win. It was a special year back in 1997. Nice thing was I left on the second light ( Just like in the Windsor) and could turn on the radio through the traps to see if I won... 6600 rpm in second gear through the traps... LOL

This was the awards ceremony at the end of the 1997 season. I got a bunch of extras for winning and rookie of the year.

Here I am racing again Multiple time NHRA Record holder Steve Polhill in his 1981 Escort back in 1997. At this weekend he ran the stock/Super Stock program as wella s our class. His worst light all weekend was a .515 light... He still campaigns this car and he is the major reason the slower classes have been combined into one class now. It has run as quick as low 15's in Legal Stock trim.

BTW.. We found a super short set of 15 inch tires... I think they work out to 23 inches tall... we are gonna try them after eliminations and see how much I pick up with the more gear the short tire will give me..
