General Mopar Discussions / New Chrysler Commercial

Did anyone notice the irony about the voiceover in the commercial talking about it's not how fast you arrive at your destination, yet there are images of a few letter 300's that set speed records at Daytona?  Hmmmmm?

In terms of imagery, very nice...but I don't think it will help Chrysler in the way the company hopes, imo

OK, I found a place online that lists sheets for $4.25 sqft http://www.rubbertherightway.com/Universal materials.htm

Not too shabby for a company that supplies parts for a Caddi-wrack

So it's not something I can pick up at Lowe's/Home Depot?

Since the weather has gotten a little wet recently, and since the original splash shields from Chaz are long gone as they were cooked to the point of being brittle, I think it behooves me and the car to come up with a repair.

Searching in the FleeBay used to come up with some pieces for a '68 Fury, but no more

So, what material would you suggest I get if I have to make up a pair from scratch?  Unless somebody has a set they can pass along?

General Mopar Discussions / 57 or 58 Chrysler 300?

And the medallions are different, one has "300 C" and the other has "300 D", 'natch ; )

From the 300 Club Inc website regarding the 300 D,
"It carried forward the design motifs of 1957 with only minor
alterations. The windshield on hardtops now conformed to the windshield
style (domed) of the convertible. Hub caps now had red finish, painted
in the depressed outer areas of the wheel covers."

The grille looks like it has more "mesh" in the 300 D than the 300 C, imo
