PRESERVING IT?..........Paintings are "preserved" ........cars are built for transportation......
but... AUTOMOBILES are purchased to be E N J O Y E D!
None of the above fit in a pine box........so enjoy it while u can.......next year you may have to plug your transportation into AC current and unplug your toaster!

MOMMA'S NEW R/T?????

How things have changed..........my Momma drove a Colony Park Wagon! Dad drove a Lincoln Premier,.........and I had a Desoto. I had to wait til I was 28 to get my own new R/T. Damn, If I knew Mom was gonna have one, I know I could have talked her into the Hemi.....instead of the 440 6 pak I bought. Ah guess I was jus' born in the wrong family!

History shows us that many parts from the original hemi's were used in the Chrysler slant six engine. I am sure their reputation for TUFF-NESS came directly from building "over spec"........engines. It utilized previous engineering and parts in stock....all making for customer satisfaction and longevity. But....that was before stock holders started running this company, like so many others today.
LONG LIVE John Deere 2 cylinder tractors bringing $200,000 dollars restored today, and Chrysler 300's bringing about the same! John Deere made it simpler tho...
their's were all convertibles!

P.S. He never signed a note over $400,000.00 on our dairy farm. Even when it was the second largest dairy farm in NY state.
TRUE CONFESSION: Even though we had 6 John Deere 2 cyl. tractors on the farm, to fuel every day, he ordered a 3,000 gallon underground gas tank to enhance our HI TESTgas supply......that seemed always low........(starting 3 weeks after I bought the '61 "G")
