General BS and Laughs / getting "pinched"
« on: July 31, 2010, 08:28:42 PM »
My Dad would tell me "Don't get pinched" Or say stuff like"slow down, your gonna get "pinched!"
Where does this come from? What is the story behind "Getting pinched" when it comes to the police and/or breaking the law?
I have "Googled" this and "Binged" it but I got no answers.
My son and I were talking about this and I could not tell him how it started or where it comes from. I understand what it means, but how did it get started?
Help me out here!! Thanks guys!!!

Damn you, Arlen.  I was thinking that I had successfully sleazed through the day without anybody bring it up.
Well, Pamela dragged me to Olive Garden where I said the hell with it and ordered some crazy pasta filled with 5 cheeses, with melted cheese over it, and in a cheese sauce. That should bind me up for the next week.
Hows it MY fault that your wife took you to OG and YOU ate all that cheese?!?!?!?!
I bet it was good though,I love the breadsticks!!!

I bought the plugs for display during my NOS influenced intoxication.
I use NGK'a in my 318 and honestly,I have been using Delco plugs in my 440 for years simply because of the heat ranges available.
DELCO!?!?!?! Uh oh your goin straight to HE double-hockey-sticks for that Weeb!!!
I had a guy tell me that Champion plugs and AC are the same,he said that AC were the guys initials, "Arthur Champion" so both plugs have his name on them and are the same.
IDK if its true but if it helps you sleep at night.........

Yeah my Dad didn't talk much about it either. He would tell funny stories about his time in the army but never said too much about that day.
