Title: Mary Kaye Chryslers?
Post by: Stan Paralikis on April 06, 2008, 06:20:58 AM
Does anyone know if there were any Mary Kaye Chryslers?
The reason I'm asking is because I saw this car on eBay and was wondering if that color may be factory (w/a "S.O." on the VIN tag), or, (most likely) a repaint.

I had me one of these. . .  My UPS driver used to call it the "Mary Kay" car.

I like that '68, even the color.  2-door NYers make me soft and gooey inside...  I saw a '65 or 6 Chrysler with a color very similar to that on eBag some time ago.  It was advertised as and looked original, with the seller mentioning the rare color.

I know some of the late 50's and early 60's cars offered some shade(s) of pink as a color.
My Mom had a 56 or 57 Plymouth that was "Pompeno Peach" in color that my Grandfather called "titty pink" (I think that it was one of those years maybe it was before that but not much)

Maybe not......special order colors could be anything....even Chevvy orange if you wanted. 1 year off on the color is a lot more plausible.....

BTW, the color is officially called    PANK
