Title: 4spd truck trans to Torqueflight swap
Post by: Kevin on October 21, 2014, 04:10:23 PM
Hi, all,

I've got a `60 D100-108 that I'd like to convert to an auto trans.  The original OEM pushbutton would be nice but hard to source.  Any ideas/recommendations?

I think the buttons are the same as a 57 to 59 Dodge.  I suggest a 65 trans as it has a slide yoke and separate park lever.
You can put a 66 and new torqueflite in with the buttons.  A conversion kit is available from www.imperialindustries.net  250 bucks

the 64 A body pushbuttons are an easy install, because it's a small panel that can fit many dashes

....or on a stalk right on the trans tunnel where a shifter would be like the early Funny Car racers did!
