Title: TTI sound clips
Post by: 300rag on August 29, 2013, 08:11:29 AM
I have now installed a TTI 2 1/2" system with the Dynomax super turbos on the 300. I strapped the camera to the fuel filler door for one clip, but the sound isn't a good representation. The second clip is with a better camera and pointing at the car instead of away.

Sounds great Peter. How does it sound while driving? I'm going to put duals on my 66 New Yorker and am trying to decide which mufflers to use. I want it to sound somewhat "throaty' but not too obnoxious. Does your setup fit that? What does a complete TTI system cost these days?

I think that would fill the bill. Complete setup including mufflers is $680 plus shipping and about 7 - 10 days to manufacture. Mine went in very easily with the exception of the passenger side front pipe. They do not have a direct fit pipe for the manifold casting  (2205535) I have. They include an extra 6" piece of pipe for you to modify the one they send you. The choice was modify or find a 2532464 casting. The driver's side went in real slick and matched up perfectly. The hangers they supply are great too.

I went up and met the owner back in 1994. Good guy, builds quality stuff, and I have yet to find anything comparable to the quality and price overall. It also seems that every single time they install their setups in a Mopar (only) vehicle, it is an almost or is a perfect fit. The test comparisons on a dyno, I don't think I have seen anything out of a box like TTi ever get beat, no matter what the price is. I have one of the first sets of pipes to stock manifolds in my Charger, 3.0 inches of sheer glory sound with the Dynomax mufflers. Had a couple guys in a pickup truck tell my daughter (15 at the time), said her dad's Charger sounds like a *ucking Monster!  And that was at idle.
