I will be the Contrarion here: why pay $75 to get one repaired when a new one can be purchased through Rockauto for $51.93 including shipping?

I am glad you are satisfied with the work but I would choose to save the extra 20 bucks.

I think the Rock Auto switch is for a '70 and up.  The wiring configuration on the back was different than my switch.  For me, the $20 was worth not having to figure out which wire went where.

I was wondering how he was resealing the plastic.  He doesn't.

These old A/C switches are getting harder and harder to find...and even NOS ones can be dried out, or have very brittle plastic parts simply from age.  This is a great service this guy offers...well worth the price IMO.
