No, but I got stopped by enough of 'em on my years there 1950-98.

I will say most are very professional.

They don't like 95 in a 55 I know.

I do have an ex-BIL who's a deputy sheriff in Carroll Co., decent guy but not a gearhead at all.

Likes donuts tho'.

ANY police officer can run a VIN# addy, but, out of state requests have to be 'official'

So what does DMV do when the original or last owner is dead, moved, no forwarding address? One would think that after this length of time it would be an abandoned vehicle title at this point in time since it has been proven not to be stolen.  Isn't anything on a person's property that has been abandoned more than 30 days able to go through this process?

Untill I have exhausted ALL possible leads (within $$ reason) then it's time to get another '80 something title, and change the #'s.

Almost gets to the point a new used motorcycle would be cheaper and definitely easier to fix this issue.
