Welcome to the board!!  And a second 56 Belvedere/Savoy in as many days!

From the pic you posted I think I can see it has a flathead 6...hope it has a manual 3 speed tranny too.  Ask as many questions as you need....we are here to help..not laugh or belittle anyone.  We all had to learn at some point.

Very cool car. I'm the other "56 Belvedere" guy Thrashingcows is referring to. I have done a ton of research on these cars over the last year+ and can point you in the right direction for a lot of parts and information. I can also take pictures if you need any references for your rebuild.

What he said. ^ ^

I can help with some parts too . . . . didn't mention the 56' Plymouth Savoy Parts car that I have (4 Door Flathead 6 w/Power Steering) because I have only been on this forum for a day and I didn't want to come off as a parts salesman. Plus, I'm still figuring out what I will need and haven't cleared out the rat poo to take inventory. . . .
