Title: Dying Carpet
Post by: Robert Rottman on November 15, 2011, 11:05:05 AM
I want to dye the brown carpet in my DeSoto to black. Is it worth the effort or should I just spend the $200 for a new black carpet. Details would be appreciated if someone here has done it before with good results.

Thanks, Bob

Unless it is a new rug that has never been used or installed, thus not dirty, after you get done cleaning it, letting it dry, then dyeing it, the amount of time, energy, clean-up afterwards, and now that it is starting to be cold and wet, actually drying, replace it and sell yours if it is in that good of shape.
