Title: Heater Core
Post by: Robert Rottman on September 22, 2010, 07:16:11 AM
Looking to get my 41 Plymouth's heater core fixed/replaced. Took it in to the radiator shop this morning but the guy said oh boy...that's going to be expensive...I'm beginning to think I either buy ALL the stuff in the world that is hard to find or has the most expensive/sought after replacement parts or...just everything is getting out of sight. Anyways, Anybody have any experience as to where to go to get a replacement or recore that is reasonable? Thanks, Bob

I might have one from a 50 Chrysler.  Is that one under the hood?

I wouldn't think a re-core would be all the pricey, it's just a teeny tiny radiator after all...
My full size rad cost 350 to do.

_popupControl();
$200.00 from classic heaters on the internet... $140.00 from my local radiator shop.

Radiator shops are getting scarce on the ground these days. Most are gone.
