Title: Vent handles
Post by: 300rag on July 02, 2010, 08:19:02 AM
I am trying to remove the vent pulls from the lower column cover, and can't figure out how they come off, so I can continue painting the dash.

You will have to pull the cables from the vents, remove the nuts from behind the dash cover and pull them out from the front of the cover.

My bad on that, I got rid of his IP address and then a spammer  post, no need keeping the garbage, but it does make for an odd question and answer, doesn't it?  Everything is cleaned up and confustion removed, and by the way, great color and refurbishment from the looks of it!
Sorry,

thanks for the tips. this thread really helps a lot. Even though it's old, it's nice to bring up occasionally, specially if it helps some people.
