Title: Is a 65 Chrysler Oil Pan one year only?
Post by: Steve on June 21, 2010, 04:10:04 PM
My Idler is hitting the oil pan, and the pan is knotched.  It's a 62 413 Engine.

I either have the wrong Idler, Pan or the motor mounts are real bad.

Ideas?

No I haven't looked any further (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif)

Milodone makes one, new.

I'm pretty sure it's the same pan for a 413 as it for a 383.  I have a 413

Gettin old and Mind Clutter. . .but we weren't specifically discussing a 65, which is apparently a 1 year only deal.  I've seen references to 62 to 65 on the pans, and this is a 62 motor.  So something is wrong

Based on the discussion on the post I made, the oil pan with the 699 stamping is the same, and I see one on EBay....

$30 plus $25 shipping... Looks a somewhat well used, but see what you think...
