Title: Rear Seat Belt Mounting Locations - 1965 Chrysler
Post by: Scott on November 20, 2009, 02:49:26 PM
I was wondering if anyone could help me out.  I've got a '65 300 'vert which did not come with rear belts but I was wanting to add them.  I've got a set of factory belts and hardware but I'm not sure where to drill.  There is a set of two round dimples on the passenger's side and driver's side floor board just below the seat beack.  There is also a single dimple on the inner fender well on both the passenger's and driver's side.  Which dimples do I drill out for the mounting hardware?  If would be great if someone had pics.

I pout front seat belts in the '62 New Yorker I once owned.  The mounting holes were pre-drilled and threaded.  All I needed to do was remove the rubber plugs adn find out what size and thread type mthe holes were.

I would imagine the '65 would have these same holes.  If so, they will be filled with rubber body plugs.  Don't drill until you know for sure.
