Post by: Stan Paralikis on November 16, 2008, 09:52:04 PM
I'm posting this for informational purposes only.  I tripped across this ad purely by accident and found it interesting and possibly of usefulness to some members.
Basically, a specialist in recurving Mopar distributers:

Dave is a pretty decent guy. I've had him put an FBO system in my 69 300 a few years back. And just like he says, he's Mopar only.

I've had Dave test,re-phaze and re-curve my dist. to... MY... specs! It's like the car gained 25 hp overnight!. He knows Mopars! At 20 cents on the dollar,....I think this is a bargain for our US brothers!.

Dave is good guy! I've known him for probably 15 years. When he ran his own garage he did all the service on my fleet for years.  A few years ago he decided the commute from Carstairs to Calgary and the general BS of running your own business was too much so he shut her down and got a job as a mechanic in the Carstairs Ford dealership.  I don't think he was too impressed with working for Ford, but in a small town you don't get a lot of choice and he could walk to work!  But Dave is a Mopar man t the core and really has to grit his teeth to work on Fords's.  When asked, he told me, I'll work on your Fury and maybe a little of your Jeep, but you can take your Crown Vic elsewhere. (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif)

Dave has agreed to assemble my engine and look after all the fuel and ignition stuff.
