Title: 2 barrell question

on a carter bbd there is a piece with 2 tubes sticking out of it where the accelerator pump squirts the gas into the venturi.one of my tubes has a hole in the top and the other doesnt,is this normal or not.ive never noticed it on previous carbs ive worked on.thanks

What engine?? What year??
LA and B engines had different ball and ball carbs.
I got the books,but need specifics,please.

Some B&B did have some minor changes as the years went by.68 showed changes for  clean air,72 changed again for the canister,and so on.

thanks for the replies guys,its a mid 70`s 318 engine and polaraco,my duster had a 340.thanks for all the interest.
