Post by: Robert F. Brogle on June 26, 2008, 05:20:43 PM
I am wondering what the factory routing for heater hoses in a '70 Fury w/bb and no a/c.

Anyone have a pic? I'd sure like to know for my 'vert and get the right bracket if I need one.

Hmm, I wonder what that bracket is on the inner wheel house that holds the hoses? I think A bodies used a similar bracket, I may use one of those to look like the above.

It's a white plastic strap that unhooks so you can open the strap up to run hoses.

some of the early mopars used a metal strap and the hoses just squeezed in there

Rob, did you ever get this worked out?  I was looking in my service manual this week and saw a schematic for the hose routing.

Do you still need it?

Snotty, I still need it. Is that in the '70 Plymouth SM? I just finally unpacked mine and never thought to look there.

Yes.  I have the '71 Plymouth book, and the '70 Chrysler book.  Since you have one, you will have the pictures I do.

HAve fun!
