Vinyl top is mostly done, too, just waiting on locating a new windshield (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif)

The floorpans were coated with bed-liner, and the new carpet is being installed while the seats are at the upholsterers.

The list is getting smaller, but I might have to put off some of the other mechanical stuff (engine.trans/diff) due to digging myself into a little debt.   But that's OK!

Meanwhile, the brake lines are to be installed, and I ordered a reman dual diaphragm booster of '67-'68 vintage since the '73 unit was "no-go" today from Rock Auto.

I'd say the pictures don't do the car justice though it looks really impressive. I'd love to see those bumpers in person. You are doing a fine job on a car that definately deserves it. Keep the pics coming man.  (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif)  jimmyray682008-05-20 20:44:55

I agree Jimmy.  You have to admit, it's hard to fit one of these cars in the lense of the camera unless you're far away.

Hey Moe!  (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif)  Yer makin me jealous.

I am catching up Moesy!!!
I have been working hard on the BoaB!! (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley29.gif)

The only  2 things I can nit-pic,if I may,is too much black out on the rad core support. It does not go all the way up to the top,IIRC.Brace for hood release/grille should be body color.
Regardless if it is  "correct" or not it is your car and it  looks great!!(http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif)
Love the sharp color combo.

My mission here is done, then (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif)

Thanks a lot guys.  I can't believe how GOOD it looks, and I can't wait to get everything else done on it, although I might have to put off some things to next year.

BTW, I was told that the plater will NEVER do bumpers like mine ever again ...guess it's just a little too much metal to deal with, unlike the wimpy, spaghetti-like Mustang, Chevy Camaro and A-B-E body stuff (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley18.gif)

They had to replate them 3 times, because they would get scratched when being removed from the plating tank...tank was a bit small...or bumpers were too BIG! (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif) (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif)

Lea, I saw what you've accomplished...Wow! What a Canuck can do with a 3 day weekend, a fridge full of beer, some tool and paint stuff, eh?!(http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif)

(http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif)  Very nice work, considering how it's just you doing it.  BOAB is looking very sharp!(http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif)

I don't mind the black-out treatment, 'cause I DO think it makes the grille stand out a bit more, which is fine by me.  Now I guess I have a problem in that, when I do a drive somewhere, I'm gonna hafta use tar/bug remover on that grille and front bumper once I get there!! Thanks,Moesy for the compliments!! (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley31.gif)
I agree that tha black-out helps the grille.
I had seen far too many overrestored Mopes showing body color through. It just looks stupid.
I can feel your excitement as your car gets closer to being finished.
It helps me get off my duff and do some work on my barge!! LOL

Spray PAM on the grille and front bumper and the bugs will wipe right off....plus any hamburger grease on those hot days out there....but remember to invite Snotty over first!

Car looks great Moe. Don't forget, the maiden voyage is to hit Route 80 East and don't stop until exit 37 in Joisey!(http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif)
