Yoi might as well check your trunk with those spots...

But it seems like a nice car to start with, in similar condition as my 4dr Imperial and my 71 Fury (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif)

No No Not you. . .Sjak.

His buddy Martin just bought my 71 Fury.  It's over there now.  He loves it.  That was 99.8% rust free and I fixed the .02.  I don't want Sjak stealing parts from Martin.  (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif)

ok i did some custom work to her. most of you probablly won't like it.
i painted the grille and the headlights surrounds black. i also painted the taillight surrounds black as well
the bumpers are still chrome.
the roof is going to be black once it's done too. and the seats will be two-tone black and green. instead of the green and dark green.

James

How about posting a bigger picture of Susan with the wheel covers on.

Leaburn and I both agree they make the car.  In my eyes, it totally changed the appearence and made it look MUCH better.

I might have another over at Bobs.  I know Marc Moore has one.  Or 2 Or 3 Or 10

You better look for a harness for that.  I had one, may still have it.  I have to look.

For some reason 71 Furys had the worst wiring system ever.  You should have seen the chop job that was on my 71F3.   Sjaks friend Marty got the good end of it.  That wiring hadn't failed after I got through with it.  But it looks like I had more to work with than you do. . . .

If you can find one not all chopped up, you can use a 72 Polara harness, but you need inside and hood.  72 Plyme, but you need both ends.  Those were the first year of the improved wiring system from 70.  But if you find one, get the whole dash cluster too.  The gauges are laid out different.  Switches are the same.  Wipers are the same, steering column wiring is the same.  they used heavier primaries on the 72 harness.  That almost eliminated all the failures.

[/QUOTE]I noticed the wiring in both my 73 Imperials was of a MUCH better quality than on my 67 Newport. I'll watch for possible trouble on my SF (http://www.moparfins.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif)

Foamy, keep up the good work!

ok heres an update. the chrome trim will be back on the car as soon as i can get it up to my house from my parents house(a week or so), the painting under the hood will be done by the end of next week, and i'll be working on the guages and guage lights cuz i want to have them lol, i just need to find some bulbs(no one seems to have them), the actual parts will wait until i have some cash flow(seeing as the parts i need are HARD to find and most likely found of EBAY. um Steve i might need some Tech support help for the wiring section.(keyword... MIGHT) so don't count on it. but i'll update if i have problems. i go back home sunday and will be working on the car by tuesday.
