Tech- - STEERING WHEELS AND SUSPENSION / Power Steering troubles
« on: September 07, 2017, 11:57:02 PM »
Hi All, I have a 56 Dodge Custom Royal.  When i bought this car it had set in a garage for 17 years without being run or driven.  I now have it up and running but the power Steering doesn't work very well at all at low RPM's.  On the highway it works great.  I know nothing about power steering but somewhere I read where they sell a rubber boot that can go bad. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to start and what to look for.  Thanks for any help,  Dennis

General Tech- - BRAKES / Rear axel Casle nut
« on: April 29, 2017, 12:27:34 AM »
hi all, just put new brakes on my 56 Dodge Custom Royal.  I can't find in my Chiltons manual what to torque the chase nuts.  Can anyone help me out.   Thanks, Dennis

Hi all,  I just bought a 56 Dodge Custom Royal and just got aftermarket rims for it.  They are 7"wide and they look like they will work on the back but I think they are to wide for the front.  What is the widest rims a man can use on the front with no problems.  Can a person buy spacers and make them work.  If so what thickness of spacers would I need.  Thanks
