I hate to beat a dead horse, but I finally got around to looking under the dash myself at the switch...I see it is held in there with a clip, but I don't have the slightest idea on how to pop the clip out, so I can slide the switch out of the bracket.  Any insight would be appreciated.

Well guys, not sure if anybody is going to Carlisle this year, but I am and hopefully somebody else is, so we can meet up.  If not, is anybody looking for anything specific....that isn't ridiculously expensive?  I'll keep an eye out and if it's not too much I'll pick it up for you.  Let me know what and how much you're willing to spend, if you aren't going.

Welcome sure is nice to have another woman around here   These are a nice bunch of guys...but sure doesn't beat having another woman.

Well it's not inspected so I'm not sure if I wanna chance driving it up there or not yet.  I'd like to get this switch taken care of so I at least have brake lights if I do decide to take the trip up.  I'm free pretty much any Sunday (since I know that is the day you prefer to do work) I just have to see when P is free.

Yesterday P was trying to remove the brake light switch out of my '68 Fury and he couldn't seem to get it out (I'm too big to fit under there )  He said it didn't seem like there was a bolt holding it in.  If anybody has any feedback or advice for removing it, please let me/P know.

So I finally got around to getting new rubber on 'er...will take pics soon...Now if i could only get the headlights to work consistently, so I can take her through inspection and be able to drive 'er around.  Although, I'm not sure emissions will pass...there's a hole in the Y-pipe some place (haven't gotten under the car yet).

Slowly but surely I'm moving forward

Mobby, P and me went last year...good times.  We also re-booked the same hotel for this year, so I'm pretty sure we're going again.  Would be nice to have a few members out there this year...especially once the shirts/hats get made   We should definitely all meet up on one of the days tho

Well now that I got the Fury on the road, I need to look into getting new rubber for her.  I was just curious as to if there was a certain brand I should stay away from and what not...I'm not wanting to spend too much.  Also, how does everyone feel about whitewalls?  I'm open to ideas, but personally I was thinking just an all black tire...nothing fancy.

...So I'm back   After letting the Fury sit all winter, I finally got a summons for not having it registered and insured and all that good stuff, so I figured it was time to get things moving again.  After getting all the paperwork squared up and getting the town off my back, I put a few pieces back on 'er and figured I might as well take her through inspection while I was at it...
Everything was fine and dandy, she started up fairly easily and was running pretty I figured I'd test out the basics to make sure everything was still working that needed to.
Brake lights...check...well sort of
Head lights..........well no head lights again
So I figure it's pretty pointless to bother with inspection at this point so I turn the car off and recheck a few things.  I goto the trunk, pop it open and I noticed the light bulb was on and wanted to check to see if it went off when I pushed the button down (as it the trunk were closed) well to my surprise it didn't turn I jiggled the wires around back there and still nothing, just stayed on... Gave up and went to start the car back up and....and...and....nothing, nothing at all

So at this point I'm getting frustrated and decide to jiggle the wires around on the bulk head.  Turn the key and she starts up

This is my dilemma now...sorry for the wall o' text
If anybody has any idea's I'm all ears

As Mobby said...I do have a 2 barrel /6 intake, I wouldn't mind selling, as well as 2 headers for it.  I can post pics of them if you are still looking/interested
