It's all over my arms and won't come off, even with Laquar Thinner

I discovered, as I guess you are learning, the only way to get POR-15 off is to "grow it off"!

It sure does a nice job thought even with a brush application.

Yes it does.  But I find it doesn't like UV's too much.

And I figure a month before the 4 blobs are ready to peel off my arms. . .

Next time I'll wear a long sleeve shirt.

por 15 doesn't like uv's but if you top coat while tacky with cheap chassis paint it works very well-----------------in time the top coat will wear but the 15 will be there for ever but may be touched up easily------still pretty good for an oooold fart----------------------------------------later 60 dart2008-08-13 10:50:46

I started to put the front end together, it should be on it's wheels again tomorrow.   I'll post more pictures of that later.

My Ultra One is comtaminated with oil, so it's lost its efficency.  However, I got this much done on the cowel cover.  The paint and primer was completely gone so what you see is all metal.  You can see the car this came off of was originally light blue.  The color is on the left edge.  That's where the molding and windshield gasket is.  When I get the fresh stuff, I'll finish this in hours instead of days.

It's coming along relatively quickly...cool!  Can't wait to drive it when it's done.

Little bit every day now.  The sun goes down earlier now, so I loose some time.  Once I get the T Bars in (Today) I can put it back down.  I just need to connect the T Bars, put one drum on and put some tension on the T Bars.  Throw the tires on and she'll be ready to roll again.

Leaburn and Bob helped me move the VOAB out of the driveway for the weekend.  We're going to take some time to get some smaller projects done

Finally got back to it today

Finished patching a few very small holes in the front floor, removed the dash.

Tomorrow if I can get home early enough, I am going to finish priming the floor and inside fire wall and then get the color on it.  I'll get some pics when I have color

This was today.  I haven't worked on the VOAB since over a week ago.

Painted the frame last night with POR15

Hey Steve, Regarding the 69Fury vs. 70 Fury thread I started...the upper/lower bushings you were talking about...Do they go somewhere in these parts you have in these photos below??? I just found this thread...Nice work man!!...makes me wanna get that 60 even more now.

This is what the control arms looked like before U1

After U1.  I didn't dry them off right away so they have a little rust on them already.  The top one came out of Polaraco.  I normally rebuild them before hand, but these haven't been done yet.  I keep spares.  But I used the spares I did over the winter in Polaraco this spring.
