I ran out of C25 so I can't finish the welding.  And ofcoarse, it's been raining.  But I got this far. . .

Considering my eBay 1/4 panel was way out of whack, but was the right one, I didn't come out as bad as I expected.  It's amazing what you can do with a 10 pound sledge and a 2 X 4.    The line is straight, but didn't meet where it was supposed too by an inch.  I'll try to fudge it with body filler.  It looks like the line was bent wrong.  I wonder if this guy is near Leanburn and they use the same package good store.

I am not there, but that appears to be the incorrect panel.
Compared to the used one installed on the left, the lines do not match at all.
If all else fails,Steve, grab anudder used one from Moores.

No, it's right Lea
It's just a very bad copy

I worked it pretty good.  It's hard to tell now and it's hard to explain what was wrong.  It just took allot of manipulating to make it presentable.  When looking at the left and comparing it, there are subtle differences in the wheel well as an example.  The only other car remotely like that I remember is a 67 and 68 Dodge.  I don't have any pictures of either of them.  But as I recall the wheel well was swept back more.

When I get it primed, I shoot another pic for you.  As Brian said, it's better than nuttin!  I think I took 4 gallons of Bondo out of that 1/4 alone.  Now the whole car will need less than a gallon.

Edit
Actually there is a vast difference between a 67 Dodge and Plymouth.  I just discovered a few shots of a 67 Polara 500 that I have not put on the site yet.

Been a long time coming.  I was edging the door and mixed too much paint so I decided to treat myself and you all to a color test.  Buckinskin cloth roof and matching interior.

I see I have some dents to attend too. . . .    Obviously no where near ready for paint. . ..

That E bay 1/4 still looks like crap. The beltline crease is out too much, yet lines up with the rest of the car.

I can't win
I epoxy primed the firewall yesterday.  Tonight I come out and slap color on it.  Wait 1/2 an hour to put clear on it.  It starts getting dark all of a sudden right after I mix the last of my clear.  So I quick blast the first coat on it.  Weather is holding, breeze is strong and still no rain.  Wait 15 minutes.  Tacky.  Blast the heavy coat on and

I'll get some pictures when it stops raining
