POOF! done!!
Plus no more spikes or headlights dimming. As you already know I did t he MAD conversion on the car as one of the very first things I did to the car back in 2005.
This regulator will compliment the wiring upgrades.

Did you know the cover is sealed to the base with thermally and electrically conductive silicone?  It must conduct electricity so that the cover will protect against electrical noise screwing up radio reception. It must conduct heat so the cover can help dissipate heat and keep the circuit cool. Finally it must seal around the cover to keep moisture out.

Once all the guages were in I installed the RTE limiter.

So who did you get this regulator through??   Was it RTE??

I want tot do this as well as the VR706 regulator AND the MAD wiring upgrade on the wagoon.

Bill,I have some Permatex "Right Stuff" I will use to reseal it.
The NOS cover still has its cork gasket as well.
I left out that little detail since most of us are "hands on" and a little common sense should come naturally.(OK,OK, I forgot!!)

The New Yorker needs one of those limiters. I can't get the gas guage to read right and that's the last item that needs to be changed. Why can't the '68 Chrysler dash be like the '68 Plymouth dash?

This weekend Rusty and I started working in the garage.Basically getting the Imp and Barge out of storage to make room in ordr to work.
Earlier this winter I aquired a used forced air furnace.we gutted one corner next to my chimney and moved it there.Nights are still cold here and the heat when running will keep the shop at a steady temp.Very important when doing body work,IMO.
The back garage where I store the NYer will be a mini paint booth for the body panels (fenders, hood trunk, etc).I can keep the garge door to it open and the little man door shut so no dust will go in the main garage.

If you are wondering what that big metal door is,it is a smoker for meats and fish.My garage was built with a chimney.

   Heat! Wow! I envy!

Is that a gas or oil furnace?  If it's gas, you might, with a bit of fiddling install it inside the smoker. Probably have to lose the smoker door.

Very, very nice looking furnace!
