It's a step to being closer to the end.

Yes Ray's work is outstanding! I was very impressed with all the stuff I'd only seen pictures of, up close the metal work is as good as it gets.  The repairs around the bottom of the rear window is nothing short of amazing!

Leaburn,  I think you may  need to buy a couple of cows to keep Rusty filled up!  I've never seen anyone down a  whole steamboat  steak followed by a ton of salad and then still be first in line for desert!   If Rusty likes beer as much as beef, you'll need a new mortgage just to cover provisions.

It's been a while since I updated.
As y'all know,I had company during my time off from work.
Bill (Fury440) and his wife Sue stayed with us for a few days.
Ray was humbled by their praise.Little did he know how important this build is to others watching.
Even though Bill and Sue were on vacation, they wanted to see the car for themselves--even though it is not even finished!! That my friends is deep.
In appreciation for Rays work,I gave him a gift for all his hard work.I had a "Carbq" and presented his hard earnings amidst the crowd. He did not see it coming. A while back ,I asked Ray what he wanted for his '66 Fury.I got it at National Moparts and gave it to him.Proper heater hoses, ring clamps, and correct rad cap.
Thanks Ray for your hard work!

I had a moment in between everything to remove old seam sealer and replace it on the trunklid.Prepping it for paint
Sanded down,Epoxy primered, then sanded down smooth again.

First coat of paint...

Upon closer inspection, the paint did not lay down the way I wanted it to.So,I am going to sand it again and lay down a couple more coats. All the bumps and ridges proved to be challenging to an amateur like myself.
Then I can re-install it back on the car.

I see BBOAB...  beer bottle on a barge...

On a serious note, that car's going to look fabulous Lea!   The next time I plan a trip home to see my folks I just might factor in another four hours of driving time so I can come and see your (and Ray's) work for myself!

Would you be offended if I brought some watery American beer?  I'll share

I have been getting parts rather feverishly lately.
Some NOS,some repro and some that has to be new that you cannot re-use.new rubber parts for the doors, glass and trunk.
I also have gathered a healthy collection of literature as well.
Parts catalogue,crash sheets,Master tech carb tuning guide,etc.
My biggest score is a new trunk mat compliments to Nigel at National Moparts.
It was defective as the cuts in it for the spare tire mount were off  by three inches.A 65 dollar value for free!!.I can make it work.Besides the spare will hide the imperfections.Plus I have a plan for displaying my literature in the trunk during car shows.

Overall, the total so far invested in the BoaB is just under 6 grand.
That does not include the cow Rusty ate,and all the beer Bill and I drank!!
LOLWhen you compare that to restoring any other A,B,or E Mopar, that is a drop in the bucket.
I have exceeded the value of the car,for sure. But I am doing it for love. When the BoaB working bees and myself are done, she will be a nice car.
All the people watching this thread have been an inspiration and I have pushed myself up to a new level to make this car the best I can ever achieve.
