Actually mike, the lines I use you can shape in your hands.  Brake lines are so easy to do. . .
 
If you were copying a line, you tape one end together and just keep bending.  Every so often you tape again.  Use a coupler to join the next piece if needed.  NEVER use a compression fitting.  At tge end, you need to cut and flair as needed.
 
To do it really right, you should have a double flairing tool and tubing cutter

Alright , sounds simple enough except I am not really sure what a
double flairing tool is, maybe show me next time I'm up that way.

It's also called an inverted flair.

To make an inverted flair it's a two step process.  Pretty easy to do, aftre you've done a few.

When you come up, I'll let you do one.  We're going to do that soon anyway. . .


BTW  Measure the Diameter of that fan for Hurst 1

it's honestly qutie easy once you've got the hang of it. kind of like riding a bike. but less painful to learn(sometimes)

I was supposedly be in the garage doing things but I got a call my parts were in at Jack's in Clayton,NY.Just 45 minutes away across the border.
Despite the rain and gusty winds I am very happy .
I picked up my dual snorkel air cleaner.Correct for a 383 4 bbl C body car.Also I got my NOS center door pillar plastic trim piece to replace the broken original.SCORE!!!!!
