See that top bolt on the alternator? Need to get a bracket on the back side of that bolt, give it strength and keep it from bending, otherwise it will. Yeah, my Dad bent mine when he decided to do a hard pull on my '68 Charger when I ran a 361 big block in it.

I need to get he head tapped out for that. There is no mount to put the longer bolt in there.

The RB uses a little thick plate that bolts to the existing head bolt holes in the head and then a screw end on it for a longer bolt, and a little tube washer that was about an inch, inch and a half in beteen to take up the space. Might be what you need. It is RB specific for the taller block and using the big block heads (compared to the B block deck height).

Dang it , no, but picture this. The thickness is same as the front bracket thickness, and if I remember correctly, heck, Steve may have one, but it is about three inches long about one inch wide, rounded ends, and two holes line up with a pair on the head and the third hole, if not mistaken, has a nut welded to the back of it. If not, it is smooth so you can run a bolt through.

Steve, do you know what I am talking about for the alternator upper bracket,  where the 383 alternator bolts into the head, there is a little metal extension that the alternator bolts to since the taller 413/440 block is out of alignment. Tob-molloy needs a picture of the bracket.
